It’s funny how this rumor pops up constantly. I go to Amsterdam at least once a year, and EVERY time I go, several Americans always tell me that they know without a doubt that Holland has decided to close the smart shops, and oh by the way, soon they’ll be closing the coffee shops, too. These rumors are never true–I was just there in December–although a stiff debate on shrooms is now underway due to a recent tourist suicide.
